CIS Teams Present
Laurier, Nipissing, Waterloo, Concordia, Windsor, Western, Queen's, Guelph, McMaster, McGill, Laval, Toronto, York, Brock, Laurentian
6 of the top 8 men's CIS teams from last year, and 5 of the top 8 women's teams.

Women
The Mac women are racing a near full squad at Western this year and are poised to wipe the memory of last year's CIS disappointment. With Lindsay Carson healthy and fit, we could see a return of her old dominate ways. Likely to join Lindsay in the top 10 this weekend are teammates, Victoria Coates, Jill Wyman, and Steph MacNeill. However this years team looks deeper than ever, and the placing of runners is likely to shift throughout the year. One thing that will remain constant however is how fast these ladies will be running.

Men
The McMaster men's team has always seemed like District 12 from the Hunger Games. Generally forgotten about in the CIS, but always hanging around. This years team is fired up to change that. With Lionel Sanders up front looking to compete with the best of the CIS, the remainder of the squad will be scrapping for every place. Second at Time Trial, Jeremy Walsh is hoping that the shorter 8k with less hills will swing to his advantage as he tries to prove himself able to run track and cross country. With a different opinion Ryan Tice is "not happy" about Western being a shorter distance this year. He'll be fighting with Walsh and a strong Blair Morgan for second place Marauder this weekend. Then the depth comes to play as the Forbes twins will group up with Eric Barry, Keenan Viney, Eric Labelle and Luke Charbonneau to chase down a top 5 spot this weekend. The year looks bright for this mens team and they are pumped to get it started tomorrow. May the odds be ever in your favour.
