Marauders Map

Welcome to the Marauders Map! Inspired partially by Harry Potter, the first map below shows some of our favourite running routes around McMaster. The second map shows most of our workout routes. Grab a trail and happy running!
Trails


Bacon Strip: 14km. Out radial, turn off onto Bruce. Technical section along Bruce. Great views of Sherman and Canterburry falls. MapMyRun
Bayfront: Flat road for workouts. Well lit up in the evenings.
Borer Falls: 13km. Includes Bruce Trial, Escarpment Trail, Cootes, Olympic and Sydenham. One steep climb, and one long descent. MapMyRun
Kessel Run: 13km. Out Spring Creek, back Rail. Added for it's effectiveness as a pre-comp run. MapMyRun
Northshore: 13km. Down through Dundas, up Olympic, trails around Cootes. MapMyRun
The Overlook: 12km. Good city view up the escarpment.
Radial: 13km. Escarpment climb with a great view. MapMyRunRunning Root 
Spring-Farmers-Main-Monarch: 21km. Head out Rail to Spring Creek, John White, Farmers Field/McCormick, Main Loop, Monarch. All trails, rolling hills and some difficult hills. Mostly wide, well-groomed trails. MapMyRun

Workouts

Bertram: Great for road workouts in winter or evening for loop work and hills.
Churchill Park and Princess Point: Flat grassy park for cross workouts and races, and Princess Points for hill workouts.
McMaster Indoor Track: 200m indoor track.
McMaster Outdoor Track: 400m Mondo Track
