Even with the season winding to a close, the Marauders are still bringing back the hardware, as 3 Maruaders came home with gold medals this weekend. Austen Forbes led Team Ontario to a silver medal in the men's triathlon relay at the Canada Summer Games, as well as claiming a gold in the mixed relay with Team O. Connor Darlington had a blistering kick to take the win in the men's 5000m at the Games. Connor also has a write up in the Ottawa Sun, which you can check out
here. Elsewhere, Andrew Beardsall claimed his first triathlon win in Orillia, beating the 2013 national age-group sprint champion Jeff Scull for the gold. Also, congratulations to Marauder swim team member Connor Gillespie-Friesen on a bronze medal in the individual triathlon at the Canada Summer Games.
