Thanksgiving weekend the Marauders traveled to Kingston for their final meet of the year before the OUA championships. It was a good chance for Mac to test out the OUA course, and based on the results they seem to have taken to it. You can read Laura Sinclair's recap here. The women were once again on the podium, taking the silver medal led by Maddy McDonald in 5th. Other scorers for McMaster included Gabrielle Foran in 12th, Maddy Benjamin in 17th, Kierstin Myers in 19th, and Erin Mawhinney in 28th.
The men continued their winning ways, dominating London Runner and Lakehead teams by over 50 points. Taylor Forbes had a successful season debut, as he finished in 3rd overall, and 2nd collegiate. Gabriel Ghiglione and Twin #2 (Austen) raced side by side to finish 7th and 8th, Luke Charbonneau had his best race this season with an 11th place finish, and Derek van Schepen rounded out the scoring in 15th. Taylor Forbes was named the Marauders Pita Pit Athlete of the Week for his performance.
